What we collect and why
We process contact, billing, service and technical information to respond to enquiries, deliver IT support, manage contracts, protect systems, and meet legal duties. We do not sell personal information. Operators and trusted contractors may receive information only as needed for the job.
Workstation rebuilds and temporary backups
When we format, reload or rebuild a machine with your authority, we back up agreed information, keep that temporary workshop backup for seven (7) calendar days after return or availability, then destroy it unless you ask in writing to keep it longer. Please check restored information within that window.
Direct marketing
We may email customers about Ligotek services and offers. You can opt out at any time. Operational messages about tickets, invoices or work in progress are not marketing.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion or objection where POPIA allows. Contact the Information Officer above. You may also complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa) via inforegulator.org.za.
